Podatki so prikazani grafično, obdelani so ročno ter s pomočjo računalniških programov Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel in programom Statistical package for Social Sciences (SPSS).

Title:Tasks of a nurse in transporting a life-threatened patient
Abstract:The thesis deals with the presentation of a critically ill patient and the transport needed which is crucial both for demonstrating the disease or injury and for its treatment. The types of tasks and specific skills that a nurse must have when accompanying a critically ill patient during the transport are described. All devices that a nurse should know how to use and be able to use are presented and described, as well as their mode of operation and all guidelines written on the subject of critically ill patient which aim at his secure transport in a case of emergency or complications, so that all the necessary facilities to improve the patient's condition are prepared and ready to be used in a proper way. The conclusion of the research is that health care providers in intensive therapy know and respect the guidelines for transporting the critically ill patients, and work as a team. Mutual cooperation and trust in the transport team is crucial, as only with such cooperation their work is easier and their reaction in critical events proper. The survey was conducted in UKC Ljubljana, Medical Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Therapy of Operational Disciplines, in December 2009, with the participation of 46 health care providers. The survey questionnaire was used, and the empirical data collected helped in answering the research questions. The data are displayed graphically; they are hand processed, using computer programs Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and the Statistical Package for Social Sciences program (SPSS).
