Abstract:
Diplomska naloga z naslovom "Operativni management in razvoj v Zavarovalnici Maribor d.d." predstavlja operativni management v zavarovalništvu. Diplomska naloga je razdeljena na tri poglavja. V prvem delu diplomske naloge gre za pregled strokovne in znanstvene literature na področju organizacije in managementa, operativnega managementa in managementa v zavarovalništvu. V osrednjem delu diplomske naloge je predstavitev Zavarovalnice Maribor d.d. V zadnjem empiričnem delu diplomske naloge pa predstavljam analizo rezultatov mnenjske ankete "Operativni management v zavarovalništvu", izvedene med zaposlenimi v Zavarovalnici Maribor d.d. Cilj diplomske naloge je raziskati vpliv operativnega managementa pri razvoju Zavarovalnice Maribor d.d., ter na podlagi teorije in praktičnih izkušenj izdelati plan aktivnosti, ki bi operativnemu managementu pomagale izboljšati delo in bi prispevale boljši organiziranosti. Izpolnjevanje zahtev zavarovancev mora biti na prvem mestu družbe. Naloga daje odgovor na vrsto vprašanj in tudi nakazuje potrebo po usmeritvah na področjih vodenja in upravljanja. Zastavljene cilje lahko uresniči samo motivirani in usposobljen kader.

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT IN INSURANCE COMPANY ZAVAROVALNICA MARIBOR D.D.
Abstract:
My degree composition titled "Operational management and development in insurance company" (in Zavarovalnica Maribor d.d.), discusses operative management ininsurance companies. It composes of three chapters: In the first part there is review of the professional and scientific literature in the field of the management, executive management ana management in the insurance company. In the central part of the thesis I presentation of insurance company (Zavarovalnica Maribor d.d.) In the last empirical part of my undergraduate thesis, I present results of »Operative management in insurance companies« The purpose of this work is to find out the influence of operative management on the progress of the insurance companies, and to create an activity plan on the bases of known theories and experience, which could help operative management to improve functioning and its organisational scheme. Fulfilment of the clients' demands must be company's priority. This diploma work offers a range of answers and also indicates a need for directions in the field of leading and management. Set goals might be only achieved by motivated and qualified stuff.
