- Zaposleni z daljšo delovno dobo so bolj podvrženi procesu izgorevanja. - Neustrezne delovne razmere poslabšajo čustvene in mišljenjske znake.

Title:BURNED AT WORK
Abstract:In this paper a burnout process is presented, which has become a significant problem in various professions. The term applies to a long-term exhaustion and a lowered interest in work. Stress and burnout often go hand in hand, but they are not synonymous, stress usually being the main reason for burnout, because it triggers certain processes and subsequently leads into burnout. This paper researches a burnout process in three different professions, using a questionnaire. The gathered data was processed by SPSS program and the hypotheses were checked. The main results of the research are: - The employees show physical, psychological and behavioral signs which imply a certain degree of burnout. - The degree of burnout varies in the professions of an administrator, a teacher and an architect. - The employees with longer work period are often subject to burnout. - Physiological and behavioral signs are correlated. - Burnout is proportional to the degree of education – the more educated the people are, the lower the degree of burnout. - The emotional signs of burnout are the same regardless of gender. - The burnout is greater for people in their 40s and older. - Inadequate working conditions worsen psychological and mind signs of burnout. In conclusion, some advice is given as how to avoid burnout, as well as some solutions for those who already suffer from it. The main principle of such advice is to teach the individual to be able to resolutely say NO to additional assignments, when their physical, behavioral, psychological and cognitive abilities are exceeded.
