Abstract:	Namen diplomske naloge je bil predstaviti ustvarjalno delo zbirateljice Vere Gašpar ter prek tega bogastvo slovstvene folklore v Porabju in porabskega narečja. Slovstvena folklora v Porabju še vedno živi. Tesno je povezana z načinom življenja in razmišljanja tamkajšnjih ljudi včeraj in danes. Dokaz za to je ravno ustvarjalno delo Vere Gašpar, ki je tematsko, sporočilno in žanrsko zelo raznovrstno. Zbral sem 215 folklornih besedil, med katerimi prevladujejo povedke, predvsem šaljive, veliko je folklornih obrazcev, nekaj pa je tudi pravljic, anekdot in folklornih pesmi. Zbirko sestavljajo besedila, prepisana iz njenih štirih zvezkov, in pripovedovana besedila, posneta na terenu. Gradivo je razvrščeno po temeljnih načelih sodobne slovstvene folkloristike Marije Stanonik v Slovenski slovstveni folklori (1999). Opisane so vse tri ravnine slovstvene folklore Vere Gašpar — tekst, tekstura in kontekst. Ugotovljene so bile tudi geografske, časovne in literarnoteoretične vzporednice z zbranimi folklornimi besedili drugih geografskih območij, časovnih obdobij in drugih zbiralcev. O geografskih vzporednicah lahko govorimo v smislu podobnosti velikega števila folklornih besedil iz Porabja s folklornimi besedili iz vseh ostalih delov Prekmurja — Ravenskega, Dolinskega in Goričkega. Časovne vzporednice so bile ugotovljene v primerjavi obrednega besedila, vezanega na šego vabljenja na poroko, z enakim, a okrog 150 let starejšim besedilom iz Porabja. S primerjavo slovstvene folklore Vere Gašpar s slovstveno folkloro največjega porabskega zbiralca Karla Krajczarja so bile ugotovljene tudi literarnoteoretične podobnosti. Značilnosti zelo »pisanega« porabskega narečja so predstavljene z jezikovno analizo zbranega gradiva. Ta prinaša vse posebnosti porabskega narečja in gornjeseniškega govora ter podobnosti in razlike le-tega s slovenskim knjižnim jezikom.

Title:	Literary Folklore in the Raba Valley Based on the Life's Work of Vera Gašpar
Abstract:	This thesis presents the creative work of the collector Vera Gašpar and, through her work, the richness of the folk literature of the Rába Valley and the dialect of the region. Folk literature is still a living tradition in the Rába Valley and is closely linked to the way of life and the thinking of the region’s people, both today and in the past. Proof of this can be found in Gašpar’s creative work, which is very diverse in its themes, messages, and genres. I collected 215 folklore texts, most of them humorous tales. Many have folklore forms, and there are also some fairy tales, anecdotes, and folk songs. The collection consists of texts copied from her four notebooks and from field recordings of narrated texts. The materials are grouped according to the basic principles of modern folk literature by Marija Stanonik in Slovenska slovstvena folklora (Slovenian Folk Literature, 1999). The thesis describes all three levels of Gašpar’s folk literature: the text, texture, and context. Furthermore, I found some geographical, temporal, and literary-theory parallels with folklore texts collected from other geographical areas and periods, and by other collectors. It is possible to talk about geographical parallels in the sense of a similarity between a large number of folklore texts from the Rába Valley and folklore texts from all other regions of Prekmurje (i.e., Ravensko, Dolinsko, and Goričko). Temporal parallels were discovered in comparing a ritual text related to inviting guests to a wedding with the same kind of text from the Rába Valley – which is, however, about 150 years older. In comparing Gašpar’s folk literature to the folk literature of the greatest collector in the Rába Valley, Karl Krajczar, I also found similarities in literary theory. The features of the very “colorful” Rába Valley dialect are presented through linguistic analysis of the collected material. The analysis shows all the specific features of the Rába Valley dialect and the dialect of the village of Felsőszölnök (Sln. Gornji Senik), as well as similarities and the differences between the Felsőszölnök dialect and standard Slovenian.
