Abstract:V zadnjih desetletjih se poslovno okolje sooča z vse večjimi, hitrejšimi in vseobsegajočimi spremembami. Kriterij izbora respondentov predstavljajo najvidnejša podjetja slovenskega gospodarstva. Z respondenti smo izvedli strukturirane globinske intervjuje.

Title:SELF IMAGE OF CEO'S
Abstract:In the last decades business environment has been increasingly facing changes and challenges. In a time marked with changes and challenges a man desires to discover new and better ways. This has undoubtedly contributed to the increasing interest of researchers for entrepreneurship and entreprenneurial behaviour at the top of organisations. This does not come as a surprise as top entrepreneurial leaders are, according to many researchers, key factor of success and overall entrepreneurial effectiveness of the organisation in today's turbulent environment. The work focuses on top managers in Slovenian top companies, their attitudes, feelings and perceptions of themselves in their successfull business environment. Five C.E.O.s, their superiours – presidents of the boards, equal collegues – members of the boards and inferiors - public relations officers had been included in the research. We have chosen the respondents as they work for the best known Slovenian companies. The interviews were semi structured. The respondents were given 57 statements and they were asked to evaluate them with grades 1, 2, 4 and 5, according to whether they agree or disagree with them. The results show that CEO's have a pretty good self-image and that their perception of themselves is not importantly different from the perception of them of the others respondents. There are no siginificant differences beetween the evaluated statements, exept for two of them: »I/He like/s to take risks in business.« and »I/He like/s to make fun of myself/himself.« The C.E.O's evaluate themselves differently from their superior, equal and inferior colleagues.
