Title:HOUSE BIOLOGICAL WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
Abstract:In recent years, Slovenia and the European Union are paying more and more attention to the urban wastewater treatment. Given that by the end of 2017, we need to rehabilitate the majority of septic tanks, the number of different types of water treatment plants on the market is increasing. In my diploma work, I presented a description of certain types of biological treatment plants, their maintenance, operation and management. Furthermore, I decided to present a slightly different type of wastewater plant, the biological wastewater treatment plant for individual houses, which I developed, together with the company NIVO d.d. This type of treatment plant, which is described below, operates on the principle of treatment of urban wastewater, based on micro-organisms. For this device, I made a detailed composition, described the entire production line, analyzed the costs of an established production capacity, and planned an income for another three years. All calculations and indications suggest that the production and installation of these devices is profitable, it increases with years and shows the success of sales in the company NIVO d.d.
Keywords:biomatic, wastewater treatment, population equivalent (PE), chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), bio-balls, biofilm, the manufacturing process
