Abstract:	V diplomskem delu smo najprej predstavili pojem registracija delovnega časa. Poudarili smo za kaj je potrebna v podjetju in kako lahko pripomore, k boljšemu poslovanju in znižanju stroškov. Sledi poglavje, v katerem smo predstavili delovanje sistemov za registracijo delovnega časa. Predstavili smo komponente strojnega in programskega dela sistema. Opisali smo tudi načine registriranja zaposlenih na registracijskih konzolah, kot na primer, registriranje s pomočjo biometričnih čitalcev. V nadaljevanju smo prestavili sistem registracije delovnega časa Kronos, ki ga uporabljajo v Cinkarni Celje d. d., kot prvi računalniško podprt sistem za registracijo delovnega časa. Opisali smo komponente, ki so sestavni deli sistema Kronos in izpostavili glavne razloge, ki onemogočajo nemoteno oziroma stabilno delovanje sistema. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili ponudnika sistemov za registracijo delovnega časa v Sloveniji, Špica Internacional, d. o. o. Opisali smo sistem za registracijo delovnega časa, ki ga to podjetje trži pod imenom Time & Space. Opisali smo katere komponente strojnega dela sistema bi bile primerne za implementacijo v podjetju Cinkarna Celje, d. d. in programski paket, ki vsebuje funkcije za uspešno obdelavo in zajem podatkov. Implementacijo sistema smo nakazali s slikovnim gradivom in opisom faz vgradnje strojne ter programske opreme. Prvo fazo smo namenili za ogled lokacije ter namestitev strojnih delov sistema. V drugi fazi smo sistem omrežili in implementirali programsko opremo. V zadnji fazi pa smo testirali sistem v ekstremnimi scenariji, da smo ugotovili, če je odzivnost sistema zadovoljiva.

Title:	UPDATING THE CURRENT TIME ATTENDANCE SYSTEM OF CINKARNA CELJE
Abstract:	The first term that we introduced in this diploma work was the registration of working hours. We stressed its importance within a company and its impact towards better business and lowering of costs. The chapter that follows contains an introduction of the working philosophy of the time attendance system. We discuss the components of mechanical as well as the programming part of the system. We describe ways of registering employees on registration consoles, such as registration over the biometrical readers. Secondly, we describe the time attendance system called Kronos used in Cinkarna Celje d. d., which is the first computer supported system for the registration of working hours. We describe the components, which are the consistent parts of the Kronos system and state the main reasons for disabling its stable working process. Thirdly, we introduce a supplier of time attendance systems in Slovenia, called Špica International d. o. o.. We describe the time attendance system, which is in the market and owned by the company under the name Time & Space. We describe which of the components of the mechanical part of the system would be the most appropriate for the implementation in the company Cinkarna Celje d. d. And the programming parcel containing functions needed for a successful processing and capture of the information. The implementation of the system has been demonstrated by graphic material and description of phases of installing the programming and mechanic equipment. To sum up, the first phase served as a presentation of locations for setting in the mechanical parts of the system. During the second we networked the system and set in the programming equipment. In the last stage we tested the system under extreme conditions to verify its response.
