Abstract:Diplomsko delo prikazuje validacijo laboratorijskega informacijskega sistema L@b-IS®. Vsa potrebna dokumentacija za testiranje, vključno z validacijskim dokumentom, je bila izdelana na podlagi CLSI (Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute) priročnika o validaciji laboratorijskega informacijskega sistema ter ob pomoči standarda za kakovost programskih proizvodov ISO 9126. Na podlagi tehnične in uporabniške dokumentacije, uporabniških zahtev in dosedanjih izkušenj je bilo izvedeno testiranje s pomočjo retrospektivnega V-modela validacije. Izvedeni testni primeri pokrivajo razpisne zahteve za LIS Bolnišnice Golnik. V zadnjem delu diplomske naloge je poudarek na validaciji v poprodajnem procesu, ter vpliv validacije na razvoj podjetja, prikazano s pomočjo SWOT analize. Pomanjkljivi in slabo dokumentirani validacijski postopki nam lahko v fazi, ko je sistem že v rokah uporabnikov, prinesejo ogromne nepredvidene stroške, zato le celovita testirna dokumentacija prinaša kvalitetno testiranje novih verzij programa in s tem večje zadovoljstvo strank pri uporabi izdelka.

Title:VALIDATION OF LABORATORY SYSTEM L@BIS IN THE UNIVERSITY CLINIC GOLNIK
Abstract:The topic of the following diploma is validation of L@b-IS® laboratory information system. All the documentation required for testing procedure including the validation document was created according to the CLSI (Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute) manual on validation of the laboratory information system. It was also created with the help of the ISO 9126 international standard for the evaluation of software quality. Testing was carried out on the basis of technical and user documentation, clients’ demands and experience. The retrospective V-model of validation was used for testing. The case studies are in accordance with the requirements of the public official invitation for tenders for LIS issued by Golnik Hospital. The last part of diploma is focusing on validation after the product had been sold. It researches the effects of validation on the development of the company and includes a SWOT analysis. Poor and insufficiently documented validation processes can cause tremendous unexpected costs after the product has already been handed over to the client. That is why only a comprehensive testing documentation leads to high-quality testing of new versions of software as well as clients’ satisfaction.
