Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo se spopadli s problemom zadovoljstva zaposlenih. Na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih vpliva veliko dejavnikov, kot so: delovne razmere, možnost napredovanja, obveščenost o dogodkih v podjetju, plača in druge materialne ugodnosti, odnosi s sodelavci, stalnost zaposlitve, koristnost opravljenega dela, možnost strokovnega napredovanja, svoboda in samostojnost pri delu, ugled dela, soodločanje pri delu in poslovanju, ustvarjalnost dela, varnost dela, možnost za izobraževanje in usposabljaje, zahtevnost — zanimivost dela.

Title:THE INFLUENCE OF EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION ON SATISFACTION OF EMPLOYEES
Abstract:In this diploma work we have dealt with the problem of satisfaction of employees. There are a lot of factors which have an influence on the satisfaction of employees, like: working environments, the chances for promotion, being informed about company’s activities, wage and other material advantages, relationship with co-workers, permanent employment, usefulness of the work you do, chances for professional promotion, freedom and independence at work, work’s reputation, co-determination at work and at business, work’s creativity, work’s safety, chances for education and qualification, whether or not the work is demanding – interesting. We have focused on the influence of education and qualification on the satisfaction of employees. Diploma work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. In theoretical part we have defined basic concepts like: education, qualification and satisfaction of employees. In empirical part we have described the problem’s status and introduced the correlations between the satisfaction of employees and accessibility of education, duration of education, education’s frequency, the interest for education and the ways of encouragement towards education. The inquiry included sixty adults employed in Slovenia. The criteria for selection of pattern were one’s employment and that one is at least eighteen years old. Only twenty-five members of inquiry had in 2009 any sort of education which means that they are mostly unsatisfied with the accessibility of education. Employees unsatisfied with their jobs are the ones who want to educate themselves the most and that is because the work’s reputation and chances for professional promotion are important to them. But also important is that the content does not interest them like it does their personal development and the influence of education on their work. The greatest encourage factor towards education is personal development of the inquiry members, next is family, higher wages, chances for employment, keeping the employment and finally higher status. Due to the results of inquiry, members of inquiry have answered positively on their basic inquiry question: “How are you generally satisfied in the company you work?” We have discovered that all previously mentioned factors influence on satisfaction of employees as well as education and qualification of employees which is in great dependence with accessibility and duration of education and also encouragement towards education. Correlations between independent variables which in our case are accessibility, number of hours and duration of education, interest for education and the ways of encouragement towards education are also very high, so we can conclude that all these factors are linearly dependent between each other.
