Abstract:	Sodobno gospodarsko okolje zahteva od podjetja racionalno poslovanje, na katero ima velik vpliv tudi poslovanje znotraj logistike. Logistika se nenehno spopada z novimi izzivi ter se spreminja hitreje kot kdaj koli prej, kar gre pripisati naprednejši tehnologiji in novim idejam. Strateške smernice družbe morajo biti osredotocene predvsem na politiko kakovosti in trajnega razvoja, ki družbo vodijo v doseganje ciljev na podrocju kakovosti, stroškov, rokov, cloveških virov in okolja. Podrocje logistike je v veliki meri odvisno od globalizacije svetovnega gospodarstva, ki je pospešilo vrsto dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na rast proizvodnje, izenacevanje proizvodov ter potreb uporabnikov. Konkurenca med podjetji je vse ostrejša, življenjski cikel proizvodov pa vse krajši. Nove okolišcine zahtevajo od vseh udeležencev v oskrbovalni verigi, da se tem spremembam prilagajajo, saj tako dobavitelji kot kupci, postajajo vse zahtevnejši in pricakujejo hitrejše odzivne case, zanesljivost in pregledno poslovanje. Družba Gorenje, d.d. je svojo strategijo poslovanja prilagajala zahtevam okolja. Dinamika narocil, oziroma narašcanje letnih proizvodnih planov je povzrocilo ozko grlo v predhodnem centralnem skladišcu, katero zaradi nefleksibilne zasnove ni bilo vec zmožno opravljat osnovnih skladišcnih nalog. Sledilo je projektiranje razvoja logisticnega centra, kar se nanaša na projekt oz. izgradnjo sodobnega logisticnega centra NAVIS. Nadaljnje smernice projektiranja organizacije so vodile v izgradnjo skladišca dokupnega in dopolnilnega programa STB. Izgradnja logisticnega centra, ni pomenila samo posodobitev skladišcne tehnologije, ki je bila v uporabi, temvec prenovo in posodobitev celotnega poslovanja, spremembo razmišljanja in tudi vpeljavo drugacnega nacina dela. Razvoj logisticnega centra s skladišcno tehnologijo v družbi Gorenje, d.d. v veliki meri vpliva na poslovanje podjetja in pridobivanje konkurencne prednosti na trgu.

Title:	DEVELOPMENT OF LOGISTICS CENTER IN THE COMPANY GORENJE
Abstract:	Modern economic climate requires businesses operating rationally, which has considerable influence within the business of logistics. Logistics is constantly confronted with new challenges and changing faster than ever before, which is attributed to the advanced technology and new ideas. The strategic guideline companies should be focused primarily on the quality policy and sustainable development, which leads to the achievement of company objectives for quality, cost, time, human resources and the environment. The scope of logistics is largely dependent on globalized economy, which has facilitated a series of factors that affect output growth, rebalancing the products and user needs. Competition between companies is all the fiercer, the life cycle of all the shorter. New circumstances require all participants in the supply chain to adapt to these changes, as both suppliers and buyers are becoming more demanding and expect faster response times, reliability and transparent business. In Gorenje d.d., business strategy has been adapted to the requirements of the environment. The dynamics of contracts, and increase annual production plans has led to a bottleneck in the previous central warehouse, which due to inflexible design was no longer possible to carry out basic tasks of storage. This was followed by design development logistics center, which is related to a project, and built a modern logistics center NAVIS. Further guidance on the design of organization has led to the construction of storage facilities and upgrading program STB. The construction of logistics center was not simply meant to update the storage technology that was in use – it deals with the renovation and modernization of the entire business, a change of thinking and it stands for the introduction to a different way of working. The development of logistics center with the storage technology in Gorenje d.d., is largely affected by the operation of the company and obtains a competitive advantage in the market.
