Abstract:	Diplomsko delo govori o nasilju nad ženskami v družini. Namen naloge je, ugotoviti razširjenost nasilja nad ženskami v družini v okolici Ptuja. Cilji diplomske naloge so ugotoviti kateri so najpogostejši dejavniki, ki vplivajo na nastanek nasilja nad ženskami v družini, oceniti razširjenost nasilja nad ženskami v družini, ugotoviti ali patronažne medicinske sestre poznajo oblike pomoči za žrtve nasilja in kako patronažne medicinske sestre postopajo ob ugotovitvi, da je ženska v družini zlorabljena. V nalogi smo predstavili definicijo družine, predstavili odnose v družini in prav tako razpravljali o nasilju, tipih nasilja in vzrokih za nastanek le tega. Naloga govori tudi o delu patronažnih medicinskih sester in kakšno pomoč lahko nudijo ženskam žrtvam nasilja. Naredili smo tudi raziskavo med patronažnimi medicinskimi sestrami Zdravstvenega doma Ptuj in ugotovili, da se pri svojem delu pogosto srečujejo z nasiljem nad ženskami v družini in se o njem poskušajo z žrtvijo tudi pogovoriti in ji pomagati. Sodelovanje med zdravstveno službo in drugimi organizacijami za pomoč žrtvam nasilja je pomanjkljiva. Predvsem policija je tista, ki ne pomaga dovolj ob prijavi nasilja v družini, saj je po njihovem mnenju nasilje problem odnosov v družini, pa čeprav velja za kaznivo dejanje. Čeprav so ženske v družbi na vedno višjih položajih, še v marsikateri družini prevladuje patriarhalno mišljenje, ki možu daje absolutno oblast v družini.

Title:	Nurses in the home care service and violence against women in the families
Abstract:	In this theme, we are talking about violence against women in the families. The intention of the theme was to find out the wide circulation of the violence against women in the families in Ptuj end neighborhood. The aims of the theme were to find out the most frequently factors, which influence the rise of violence against women, to estimate the circulation of violence, to find out if the nurses in the home care service know the forms of help for victims of violence and how they act when they catch the sight of abuse. In the theme we were talking about the definition of the family. We presented the relations in the family and were talking about violence, types of violence and reasons for the rise of violence against women in the families. The theme is talking about the work of the nurses in the home care service too and how they can help the victims of violence. We also made a research between nurses in the home care service in the health center Ptuj and found out, that they are often meeting violence against women when they visit patients. They are trying to speak with the victim and help her. The collaboration between health services and other organization which help victims of violence is very deficient. First of all the police is not helping enough when they get an abuse report. They say that violence in the family is a problem of the relations in the family, although it is a punishable action. Although women are on higher positions in the society, in many families is predominating the patriarchal thought, which gives the man the absolutely authority in the family.
