Abstract:	Vloga operativnega managementa postaja vse bolj pomembna. Lahko bi rekli, da je to ključen kader v podjetju, ki mora obvladati široko paleto znanj in poznati ustrezno količino informacij, če želi uspešno opravljati svoje funkcije dela. V svoji diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na vlogo operativnega managementa v podjetju Gorenje, d.d.. V prvem, teoretičnem delu, opisujemo teoretične osnove organizacije in managementa ter značilnosti in funkcije vodilnega kadra, kot jih navaja strokovna literatura. Kar nekaj poudarka je dano vodenju kot ključni funkciji pri doseganju in zagotavljanju kakovosti v gospodarstvu in negospodarstvu. Opisane so tudi naloge in vloge managerjev. Poudarjena sta vloga in pomen operativnega managementa, kar je glavna tema diplomskega dela. Drugi, empirični del, zajema predstavitev podjetja Gorenje, d.d. ter rezultate in analizo ankete, ki je bila izvedena v tem podjetju. V anketi so sodelovali operativni managerji, ki so odgovorili na devet sklopov vprašanj. Na podlagi ankete smo prišli do ugotovitev in predlogov, ki smo jih podali v poglavju Ugotovitve in predlogi. Glavni namen diplomskega dela je ugotoviti vpliv operativnega managementa v podjetju, ter na podlagi mnenjske ankete poiskati rešitve, ki bi podjetju pomagale pri doseganju še boljših rezultatov, boljše organiziranosti in uspešnejšem tekmovanju s konkurenco.

Title:	THE ROLE OF OPERATIVE MANAGEMENT IN COMPANY GORENJE D.D.
Abstract:	The role of operating management is becoming more and more important. We could say, that this is key staff within company, that this staff must control wide pallet of knowledges and have suitably amount of informations, if they want to do their tasks successfully. In my graduate work we have centred on the role of operating management in company Gorenje, d.d.. We are describing theoretical bases of organization and management and feature and function of management shot in first, theoretical part, as specialist literature lists them. Some emphasis has been given to directions of company as key function with achieving and ensuring of quality in economy and not to economy. Also tasks and submissions of managers are described. I have described also assignments and importance of managers. The role and importance of operating management are emphasised, which in fact is main theme of graduate work. Second part – empirical part, captures presentation of company Gorenje, d.d., results and analysis of survey, which has been done in company Gorenje, d.d. In survey were cooperating operating managers, which answered nine assemblies of questions. We accessed findings and proposals based on survey, that we passed them in chapter of findings and proposals. The main purpose of graduate work is to analyse the impact of operative management and to search out solution based on the opinion survey. The solution could help company with achieving better results, organizations and more successful competing with competition.
