Abstract:Dobri medsebojni odnosi so zelo pomembni pri zadovoljevanju potreb vsakega posameznika. Sklep.

Title:Mutual relationships between a nurse, children and parents
Abstract: Good interpersonal relations are extremely important for each individual. It reflects in pediatric helath care where interpersonal relationships play an important role as sick children's parents are involved. My diploma work describes good relations among nurses, children and parents and defines the importance of parent involvement in health care during hospitalization. Research methodology. The research methodology based on quantitative methodology with the application of open questionnaire which took place in December 2009 at the hospital child's warden. 50 accidentally chosen parents of hospitalized children took part in it. Results. The data gathered this way have shown that the interpersonal relations play an important part in children's hospitalization. The reception and being at hospital are a stressful event for children and their parents. This was confirmed by 78% of respondents. 98% of parents estimate that their presence has a positive impact on children's treatment. It also helps children to get well faster if he/she feels safe in a new enviroment and he/she can trust the nurses there. Only then they are ready to cooperate. Conclusion. The research has shown that interpersonal relations among children, parents and nurses are of key importance. When a child falls ill, the parents act in a different way as they do when their child is fine. They are worried, frightened and they feel guilty. Before they speak about their fears and expectations, they ask themselves if they can trust the nurse. Will she understand? Trust and respect are necessary for successful cooperation and interpersonal relations as it brings mutual reward and positive results.
