Abstract:	Magistrsko delo obravnava vlogo in pomen operativnega managementa pri vodenju in razvoju podjetja Termoelektrarna Trbovlje d.o.o.. Za operativni management pravimo, da je to ključen kader v podjetju, ki mora obvladovati veliko različnih znanj in imeti zadostno količino informacij, da bo lahko zadovoljivo opravljal svoje delo. Naloga managementa je, da skuša poiskati ustrezne odgovore na dogodke, ki se pojavljajo tako v internem kot eksternem okolju in pri tem podjetju omogočiti, da bo uspešno konkuriralo na trgu. Na ravni vodenja in operativnega izvajanja nalog so odločilnega pomena kadri. Uspešen manager mora biti aktiven vodja, v podjetju mora ustvarjati pozitivno klimo in dobro delovno okolje in zaposlenim dati možnost in priložnost doseči visoke delovne uspehe. Magistrsko delo je sestavljeno iz uvoda in treh vsebinskih delov. V prvem delu bomo predstavili predmet raziskave, namen in cilj raziskave ter postavili hipoteze in metode, tehnike ter instrumente raziskovanja. V drugem delu bomo predstavili podjetje Termoelektrarna Trbovlje d.o.o. v tretjem delu pa je predstavljena teoretična osnova managementa (osnovna opredelitev managementa, razvoj in temeljne funkcije managementa, vloga operativnega managementa). Četrti vsebinski del pa je namenjen empirični raziskavi s področja operativnega managementa v podjetju Termoelektrarna Trbovlje d.o.o.. S pomočjo ankete bomo ugotovili stanje v podjetju in razumevanje različnih področij dela in nalog s strani operativnega managementa. Iz ankete želimo ugotoviti nivo managerskih znanj ter s tem povezati razvoj in rast podjetja v bodoče. Prav tako pa bo iz ankete razvidno kakšen je pogled operativnega managementa na trenutno stanje v podjetju, njihove povezave, razumevanje in sodelovanje.

Title:	Influence of operations management on the company development in Termoelektrarna Trbovlje d.o.o.
Abstract:	The master's thesis addresses the topic of the role and meaning of the operational management of managing and development of the Powerplant Trbovlje (Termoelekrtarna Trbovlje d.o.o.). It is said that operational management is a key personnel in the entity that must have several different knowledge and sufficient information to be able to do their work. The management's task is to try to find appropriate answers to events that appear in the internal as well as external ambience and with that enable the entity to be a successful competition on the market. On the level of managing and operational implementation of the tasks the personnel is of great importance. A successful manager must be an active leader, he must create a positive climate and a good working environment in the entity and he must give the employees a chance and opportunity to achieve good results at work. The master's thesis consists of an introduction and three content parts. In the first part the subject, purpose and aim of the research will be presented and hypothesis, methods, techniques and instruments of research will be established. In the second part the Powerplant (Termoelektrarna Trbovlje d.o.o.) will be presented and the third part represents the theoretical basis of the management (basic definition of management, development and basic functions of management, role of operational management). The fourth content part of the thesis is represented by an empirical research from the field of operational management in the Powerplant (TET d.o.o.). With the help of the survey we will get to know the state in the company and the understanding of different work areas and tasks of the operational management. The intention of the survey is to find out the level of managers' knowledge and related development and growth of the company in future. The survey will also show what the view of the operational management on the current status in the company, their relations, understanding and cooperation are.
