Title:Vpliv vojaške logistike in železniškega sistema ter partizanskega gibanja na delovanje nemške vojske v operaciji Barbarossa : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študijskega programa Gospodarska in tehniška logistika

Abstract:V diplomski nalogi želimo predstaviti vpliv vojaške logistike na operacije nemške vojske v 2. svetovni vojni pri napadu na Sovjetsko zvezo. Osredotočili smo se na obdobje operacije Barbarossa, čas od napada na SZ do bitke za Stalingrad. Pri tem bomo izpostavili vpliv železniške infrastrukture in vpliv delovanja partizanskih enot na nemški železniški sistem v Sovjetski zvezi. Hiter prodor in ogromne razdalje od nemškega zaledja do bojišč je pomenilo velik zalogaj za logistični sistem. Le ta pa na vse te izzive ni bil pripravljen. Pri tem je bil posebno obremenjen železniški sistem. Pomembne so bile tudi tehnične razlike med železniškima sistemoma. Oviro je predstavljala tudi organizacija nemškega logističnega sistema. Delovanje partizanskih enot v obliki sabotaž, napadov in uničenja infrastrukture je imelo velik vpliv pri onemogočanju oskrbe. Vsi ti dejavniki so izničili sposobnosti železniškega transporta. Nemški logistični sistem tako ni bil sposoben vzdrževati normalno bojno pripravljenost nemških sil.

Title:The influence of military logistics, rail system and partisan movement on the actions of the german army in operation Barbarossa
Abstract:The main objective of dissertation is to introduce the influence of military logistic on operations of German Army in the 2nd World War in the attack on Soviet Union, with focus on operation Barbarossa, from the beggining of the attack on Soviet Union until the battle of Stalingrad. We will emphasize the impact of railway infrastructure and the impact of partisan activities against German railway system in Soviet Union. Transportation of goods and personnel had a crucial role, especially railways transport. Many problems occured, which had a direct impact on military operations. Long distance from the German rear area to forward sites, guerilla sabotages, different technical standards of railway systems and unproper organization of the German military logistic system, were all together the reason that German military logistic system was not able to support German operational units in a proper way. In addition, it was the main reason for failure of operation Barbarossa.
