Title:COMPUTER CRIME AND ELECTRONIC BANKING
Abstract:Electronic banking is the most used form of communication with the bank today. Because it is simple, cheaper than classical business, and we avoid long queues in banks. We can do bank services 24 hours a day. However the biggest problem is security. How to protect online banking users from hackers, that prey upon them from web. Number of abuses is increasing with more and more new users. Computer crime is the easiest way of income because the criminals are very hard to trace. The most used web fraud is phishing or in other words false web pages. The easiest way for criminals to succeed is to make false web page, where we put in our own data, pin number and bank cards numbers. It's the simplest way to steal all the money from our account. Our banks have very high level of protection against burglary backed up with various programs and software solutions, but users must take care of their safety by themselfs. Because if they end up without their money it is them who's the biggest culprit. They must never entrust their personal data to other people over the web. They must aslo consider the instructions in order to use e-banking and security guidelines that every bank publishes for their business partners. Because its bad for both bank and user, if heckers succeed in achieving their goal.
