Abstract:
V diplomskem delu je predstavljen Searbyjev izrek o sklenjeni verigi krožnic, ki se zaporedoma dotikajo dveh od danih treh disjunktnih krogov. Poseben primer Searbyjevega izreka je dobro poznan Apolonijev tangentni problem. Vključene so tudi povezave z Apolonijevo premico, Mongeovo krožnico ter Pascalovim in Brianchonovim izrekom.

SEARBY'S THEOREM
Abstract:
This thesis discusses Searby's theorem on closed chain of circles, all of which are tangent to two of three given disjoint circles. Particular case of Searby's theorem is well known Problem of Apollonius. Thesis also includes connections with Apollonius Axis, Monge Circle and theorems of Pascal and Brianchon.
