Title:Depresija pri bolnikih z rakom

Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo predstavili depresijo pri bolnikih z rakom. Izpostavili smo najpogostejše simptome in vzroke, ki povzročajo depresijo. Predstavili smo tudi rakava obolenja, kakšne so reakcije bolnikov ob diagnozi, na kakšne načine se z boleznijo soočajo in kakšna je njihova kakovost življenja. Izpostavili smo tudi pomen psihoonkologije. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela pa smo predstavili rezultate ankete, ki smo jo izvedli med udeleženci delavnic in predavanj, ki jih je organiziralo Društvu za boj proti raku Velenje. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 32 naključno izbranih rakavih bolnikov, ki so z zdravljenjem raka že končali. Želeli smo ugotoviti, koliko anketiranih bolnikov z rakom je imelo depresivne motnje, koliko jih je samih poiskalo strokovno pomoč in v katerem obdobju rakaste bolezni se je depresija najpogosteje pojavljala. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da ima kar 88 odstotkov anketiranih simptome blage, zmerne ali zmerno hude depresije. Simptome depresije je več kot polovica anketiranih opazila v času zdravljenja in tudi sama poiskala pomoč pri specialistu psihiatru.

Title:Depression on patients with cancer
Abstract:In this thesis we present depression on patients with cancer. We have highlighted the most common symptoms and causes that lead to depression. We also presented the cancer itself, what are the reactions of patients at diagnosis, in what ways they face the disease and what is their quality of life. We also highlighted the importance of psycho-oncology. In the empirical part of the thesis, we present the results of a survey we conducted among the participants of workshops and lectures organized by the Društvo za boj proti raku Velenje. The study included 32 randomly selected cancer patients witch cancer treatment has allready ended. We wanted to find out how many cancer patients interviewed had depressive disorders, how many of them seek professional help and in what period of cancer the depression occourred. The results showed that 88 percent of respondents showed mild symptoms , moderate or moderately severe depression. Symptoms of depression, more than half of those surveyed noted during the treatment itself and to seek assistance from a specialist psychiatrist.
