Teoretična izhodišča s področja spletnega učnega okolja smo črpali predvsem iz izbranih teorij John O. 'Donoghue in znanstvenih člankov avtorjev Keith Harman, Alex Koohang itd. S področja kakovosti in evalvacije izobraževanja smo uporabili teoretična izhodišča in model Donald L. Kirkpatricka, James D. Kirkpatricka in Tanje Možina. Drugi del diplomske naloge temelji na empiričnem delu, kjer smo preverjali statistično povezavo med kakovostjo e izobraževanja in kakovostjo spletnega učnega okolja. Spletna učna okolja so bila eCampus in Moodle. V tretjem delu smo opisali naše izsledke in s korelacijsko analizo potrdili hipotezo. Rezultate smo statistično obdelali in prikazali demografske podatke uporabnikov, ponazorili razmerje uporabnikov glede na dve vrsti spletnega učnega okolja ter izsledke tudi grafično ponazorili.
Keywords:E-izobraževanje, spletna učna okolja, merjenje kakovosti, Kirkpatrickov model, korelacijska analiza.

Title:THE QUALITY OF WEB-BASED EDUCATION IN CORRELATION TO QUALITY OF VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Abstract:Our diploma is divided into three parts. The first part presents a theoretical platform based on the research problem of measuring the quality of e learning, depending on the quality of virtual learning environments. Theoretical positions from the scope of virtual learning environments are drawn primarily from selected theories from John O. 'Donoghue author of scientific articles and Keith Harman, Alex Koohang etc. For evaluating the research problem we used model theory of Donald L. Kirkpatrick, James D. Kirkpatrick and the theory from Tanja Možina. The second part of the thesis is based on empirical work, where we examined the statistical connection between the quality of education and the quality of virtual learning environment. Virtual learning environments have been eCampus and Moodle. Hypothesis, which we confirmed was worded: "The quality of e-learning and the quality of virtual learning environment are in a statistically significant relationship." Criteria for testing the hypothesis were divided into two different measuring parts; the quality of e-learning, and measuring the quality of virtual learning environments. Quality of virtual learning environments was measured by its own criteria; the quality of e-learning was measured using Kirkpatrickovega model, which is a traditional four-stage model that represents a structured approach to measuring educational programs. We used survey method to test the hypothesis. We have created an anonymous questionnaire to all random users of Moodle or eCampus. It consisted of 2 parts; contained basic Lickert scale and demographic data (gender, age, status). In the third section, we described our findings and correlation of the analysis. The results were statistically analyzed and presented the demographic data of users, highlighting the relationship of users to two types of virtual learning environment. We also graphically illustrated the results.
Keywords:E-learning, virtual learning enviroments, measuring the quality, Kirkpatrick model, correlation analysis.
