Abstract:Družina je osnovna primarna celica družbe. Vse kar počenjamo in govorimo, spremljajo razna čustva in razpoloženja. Vrednote in napotki za vedenje in seznanjanje z življenjskimi dejstvi se prenašajo v družini od odraslih na otroke po različnih poteh. Vzgoja otroka na vseh stopnjah njegovega razvoja bo staršem in vzgojiteljem v mnogočem olajšana, če bodo poznali in upoštevali otrokove socialne potrebe. V kolikšni meri jih starši kršijo in v kolikšno meri uresničujejo? Kakšne so posledice represivne vzgoje za otroke pri vključevanju v družbo in kako družba ukrepa v dobro otrok?
Keywords:vzgoja, družina, otrokove pravice, represivna vzgoja, kazen, vzgojni stili, vzgojne metode, avtoriteta staršev.

Title:REPRESSIVE UPBRINGING IN THE FAMILY
Abstract:Family is the primary cell of our society. The special elements of family are the feelings of love that connect children with their parents. Children grow up with the help of our presence in everyday life. That is why; we take influence in every form of behaviour they witness. Every action and every word is accompanied by feelings and attitudes. Values and instructions on how to behave and experiencing the facts of life are passed on in families from parents to children in different ways. Raising a child in each phase of its development can be quite easier for educators or parents, in case they are familiar with the child's social needs and furthermore, they follow its needs. Raising a child is a special activity of people in society, and an essential part that ensures the existence of the society as well as the individual. One of the important chapters of this diploma paper is the chapter about bringing up children, where the emphasis lies on the parents' authority. The second chapter's theme is family. It includes the position of children inside a family, methods of raising a child, as well as rewarding and punishment. Researches show that fathers use punishment more often than mothers and are therefore also more effective. The essential part of the third chapter is repression in family, which influences the child's mental development. These kinds of children are most likely going to be aggressive with mental disorders. Another importance is to be seen in raising a child for school as well as the influence of it. The last chapter is based upon Children's rights and the Convention of children's rights. A very important question appears: Do children live according to these rights inside the family? To what amount do parents break or fulfill these rights? What are the consequences for children who live in a repressive family for their future life inside the society and how does the society react for the better of the child?
Keywords:Raising, family, children's rights, repressive raising, punishment, raising styles, raisong methods, parents' authority.
