Title:NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF EMISSION MODEL INFLUENCE FACTOR IN DIESEL ENGINE
Abstract:Computational fluid dynamics represents an effective tool in the search for improvements in internal combustion engines. FIRE commercial development program based on finite volume, takes place in a context of evolving and adding new models to reflect the new formula for accurate calculation. These advanced models would be appropriate to offer users a similar default parameters for industrial simulation. The study shows the functions of each model constants of the various emission models to estimate emissions as the case AVL Diesel Engine Research FM530 by 5 different ESC (European Stationary Cycle) operating regimes for which there is pressure and emission measurements. The study showed that the change of the parameters and the old configuration can not be closer to experimental values.
Keywords:Computational fluid dynamics, combustion models, emission models, the formation of soot, radiation correction, the European Stationary Cycle (ESC).
