Abstract:	Diplomska naloga opisuje enega od procesov v podjetju in sicer upravljanje vhodnih zalog. V teoretičnem delu je opisano, kako je potrebno voditi zaloge in gospodariti z njimi, kako določati optimalne količine naročil, kako oceniti stroške, ki jih povzročajo zaloge, predstavljeni pa so tudi modeli upravljanja zalog. Na kratek način je predstavljen še postopek naročila materiala, priprava tega materiala na skladiščenje in način njegovega skladiščenje. V praktičnem delu so izračuni optimalnih količin naročanja, izračunani so približni stroški zalog in nivoji zalog. Na koncu so podani predlogi, ki bi pomagali zmanjšati stroške zalog, ki nastajajo v podjetju.

Title:	INVENTORY MANAGEMENT IN THE COMPANY IMPOL FT
Abstract:	The diploma paper describes the inventory management, which is one of the processes in a company. The theoretical part describes the importance of proper inventory management, it describes how to define the optimal quantity of orders, how to estimate the expenses caused by inventory, and also, it describes the inventory management models. In a short way, another procedure of ordering the material, preparation of this material for storage, and the manner in which it is stored, is presented. In the practical part, optimal ordering quantities, approximate expenses of inventory, and the levels of inventory are calculated. In the end, propositions, which would help to reduce inventory expense, which arise in the company, are suggested.
