Abstract:V magistrskem delu so predstavljene zmogljivosti tehnologije radio frekvenčne identifikacije (RFID), kot nosilca informacij in podatkov, v nabavnem procesu. Visoka propustnost, možnost avtomatskega in brezkontaktnega zajema podatkov z več priponk hkrati, vpogled v zgodovino in lokacijo izdelkov v nabavnem procesu odpravlja ozka grla, omogoča sledljivost izdelkov, strateško planiranje zalog, dostopnost in obdelavo velike količine podatkov v realnem času. Ugotovitve kažejo, da nadgradnja obstoječih sistemov s tehnologijo RFID bistveno spremeni način dela, ki je hitrejši in natančnejši ter pripomore k izboljšanju upravljanja in vodenja nabavnega procesa.

Title:MODEL THE INTRODUCTION OF RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION IN THE PURCHASE PROCESS
Abstract:Master degree thesis presents capabilities of Radio Frequency Identification technology as information and data transmitter in the purchasing process. Due to high permeability, automatic and contactless data collection with more attachments at once and its insight into past activities and location of products enables the product traceability, strategic inventory planning, accessibilty and processing of large amount of data in real time. According to research reports upgrading the existing systems with Radio Frequency Identification technology deeply changes the way of working. It becomes faster, more accurate and leads to improved purchasing process management.
Keywords:RFID, automatic identification, traceability, purchasing process.
