Abstract:V vinogradu sort Laški rizling in Chardonnay smo izvedli 5 primerjalnih poskusov, s katerimi je bil proučevan vpliv antidriftnih šob na učinkovitost delovanja FFS za zatiranje bolezni vinske trte (peronospora — (Plasmopara viticola Berk & Curtis, Berl & de Toni), oidij — (Uncinula necator Schwein), siva plesen — (Botrytis cinerea Pers). Nanos fitofarmacevtskih pripravkov (FFS) je bil izvršen večkrat letno z uporabo dveh standardnih (Lechler TR in Albuz ATR) in štirih antidriftnih šob (Lechler ITR, Lechler ID, Albuz AVI in Albuz TD-ATR).

Title:Impact of drift-reducing nozzles on the efficiency of plant protection products for the control of grapevine diseases
Abstract:In a vineyard planted with the Welschriesling and Chardonnay grape varieties, we have conducted 5 comparative experiments to examine the impact of drift-reducing nozzles on the efficiency of plant protection products (PPP) for control of grapevine diseases caused by Plasmopara viticola, Uncinula necator and Botrytis cinerea fungi. The PPPs were applied several times a year using two standard (Lechler TR and Albuz ATR) and four drift-reducing nozzles (Lechler ITR, Lechler ID, Albuz AVI and Albuz TD-ATR). The experiments for determining the biological efficiency of PPPs were conducted by applying the products through the entire growth season with a standard axial sprayer in equal doses and with equal water rate per hectare (300 l/ha), but with different nozzle types. In addition to the biological efficiency of spraying programmes, we have also analysed the degree of coverage with spray by using WSP (water sensitive papers), and the deposit formation of the spray by using filter paper collectors and the uvitex fluorescent tracer (Helios). An analysis of the distribution of the spray inside the grape canopy has shown that, when drift-reducing nozzles are used, the average coverage with the spray is comparable to the coverage achieved by application with standard nozzles. Also, an analysis of the fluorescent tracer deposits on filter paper indicated that no major differences between standard and drift-rducing nozzles appeared. It was shown that drift-reducing nozzles can lead to formation of higher deposits inside the grape canopy than in case of use of standard nozzles. The use of drift-reducing nozzles did not reduce the efficiency of fungicides applied for control of grape downy mildew, oidium and grey mould of berries.
