Abstract:
Diplomska naloga obravnava koncepte komutacije. Osredotočili se bomo na lokalna omrežja. Podrobneje bomo preučili različice protokola vpetega drevesa in primere le-tega. V naslednjih poglavjih so obravnavana virtualna lokalna omrežja in VLAN povezovalni protokol. Na kratko bomo preučili komutacijo OSI plasti L3, prožnost omrežja in varnost omrežnih stikal.

NETWORK SWITCHES AND LAN/WAN SWITCHING
Abstract:
The diploma work treats the concepts of switching. We will focus on local area networks. We will examine in detail versions of the Spanning Tree Protocol and examples of it.
