Title:RAZVOJ ZRAČNEGA TRANSPORTA V EU PRIMERJALNO S ŠPANIJO

Abstract:Diplomska naloga je namenjena predstavitvi razvoja zračnega transporta v EU in v Španiji. Prvi del naloge je teoretičen. Obravnavali smo značilnosti zračnega transporta in dogodke, ki so spremljali njegov razvoj vse do danes. V drugem delu smo analizirali pomen zračnega transporta v EU in prikazali spremembe v potniškem in tovornem transportu. Zanimal nas je tudi pomen zračnega transporta za turizem. Osrednji del naloge smo namenili razvoju zračnega transporta v Španiji. Osredotočili smo se na najprometnejše letališče Madrid Barajas International Airport in najpomembnejšo letalsko družbo Iberia. Najpomembnejše ugotovitve diplomskega dela so:  Zračni transport je v zadnjih 20 letih ena izmed najhitreje rastočih transportnih panog.  Deregulacija in liberalizacija sta najbolj vplivale na razvoj zračnega transporta v EU in ZDA.  Španija je velesila v turizmu, ki spodbuja razvoj zračnega transporta.  Iberia ohranja položaj najpomembnejšega letalskega prevoznika.  Iberia in letališče Madrid Barajas International Airport sta bila skozi zgodovino uspešna na trgu in kljub trenutnim težavam napovedujeta optimistično prihodnost.

Title:DEVELOPMENT OF AIR TRANSPORT IN THE EU AND COMPARISON WITH SPAIN
Abstract:The development of air transport in EU and in Spain is the main topic of my diploma. The first part of the diploma is theoretical. We considered characteristics of air transport and the event that accompanied the development of air transport to this day. In the second part we analyzed the importance of air transport in the EU and show changes in passenger and freight transport. We were interested in the importance of air transport for tourism. Core part of the diploma was assigned to development of air transport in Spain. We focused on the busiest airport in Spain, Madrid Barajas International Airport and on Iberia. The most important findings of diploma are:  Air transport is one of the fastest growing transport modes in the last 20 years.  Deregulation and liberalization most affected the development of air transport in the EU and USA.  Spain is the superpower in tourism which encourages the development of air transport.  Iberia maintains the position of the most important airline in Spain.  Iberia and Madrid Barajas International Airport have been successful in the market despite the current difficulties and they anticipate the future with optimism.
