Title:SODELOVANJE MED STARŠI IN ŠOLO

Abstract:Pričujoče diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz dveh delov, teoretičnega in empiričnega. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljene družina, šola, komunikacija in sodelovanje med starši (družino) in šolo. Ker je cilj obeh, tako družine kot šole, uspešnost otrok, se nam zdi pomembno, da si šola prizadeva za dobro sodelovanje, kar je tudi dokaz kvalitete njenega dela. V diplomskem delu so pojasnjene naloge družine, oblike družin in družinska vzgojna sredstva. Na podoben način so opisane naloge šole, razložena je učiteljeva avtoriteta, predstavljena so učiteljeva vzgojna sredstva in pogoste napake učiteljev,. Mnogokrat so prav te ovira za dobro sodelovanje med starši in učitelji. V nadaljevanju je opisana komunikacija, ki je pomemben del sodelovanja, saj napačna komunikacija lahko povzroči več škode kot koristi. Glede sodelovanja med starši in šolo obstajajo določena načela sodelovanja, ki naj bi se jih držali obe strani. Opisane so ovire in prednosti sodelovanja, oblike vključevanja staršev, izkušenjske metode dela s starši ter formalne in neformalne oblike sodelovanja med šolo in domom. V empiričnem delu smo preverili, kako poteka sodelovanje med starši in šolo v praksi na Dvojezični osnovni šoli I Lendava — 1. Számú Kétnyelvű Általános Iskola Lendva. Zanimalo nas je predvsem kako to sodelovanje doživljajo starši. Odgovore smo primerjali glede na starost in izobrazbo staršev ter glede na stopnjo njihovega otroka. Izkazalo se je, da starši DOŠ I Lendava — 1. Sz. KÁI Lendva najpogosteje obiskujejo govorilne ure in roditeljske sestanke, redko ali nikoli pa ne obiščejo sveta staršev, dni odprtih vrat ter šole za starše. Pokazalo se je tudi, da je med starši, ki pogosto sodelujejo s šolo, največ takih z višješolsko izobrazbo. Starši se (po pričakovanjih) najpogosteje obračajo na razrednika oz. učitelja posameznega predmeta, vzrok za obisk pa so težave otrok v šoli (bodisi učne, bodisi vedenjske). Starši so izkazali največ zadovoljstva z govorilnimi urami in roditeljskimi sestanki, najmanj pa s svetom staršev.

Title:COLLABORATION BETWEEN PARENTS AND SCHOOLS
Abstract:The thesis is composed of two parts: the theoretical and the empirical. In the theoretical part family, school, communication and collaboration between parents (family) and school are presented. Aim of both- family and school is the success of children so I think it is important that school’s aim is good collaboration which is also the evidence of the quality of its work. In the thesis duties of family, types of families and family educational means are explained. In the similar way duties of school, teacher authority, teacher educational means and their mistakes are described. Often these are an obstacle for a better collaboration between parents and teachers. In the thesis the communication is also described. Communication is an important part of collaboration because it can cause more damage than benefits. There are specified principles of collaboration between parents and school which both sides should apply to. Obstacles and advantages of collaboration are described, forms of parents inclusion, practical methods of working with parents and formal and informal forms of collaboration between school and home. In the empirical part we examined in practice the course of collaboration between parents and school on Dvojezična osnovna šola I Lendava – 1. Számú Kétnyelvű Általános Iskola Lendva. We were especially interested how parents experience collaboration. We compared answers according to age, parents’ education and grade of children. The results showed that parents most often visit teachers’ office hours and parents meetings, rarely or never parents’ council, open door days or school for parents. Parents that visit school most often have higher school education. As expected parents most often turn to class teacher or teacher of specific subject. Reasons for visits are problems of children in school- educational or behavioural. Parents are the most satisfied with teachers’ office hours and parents meetings, and the least with parents’ council.
