Title:COMPARISON OF PROFITABILITY OF MUTUAL FUNDS, SHARES AND BANK DEPOSITS BETWEEN 2000-2009
Abstract:Beside bank deposits, which are still the most popular type of investment between Slovenian, has also been increasing interest in other forms of and financial products. More popular become to invest in mutual funds andin shares. Although most individuals in this area as we described above is not well understood, however good to see progress in this area. Banks are those where the people still have recourse for advice and invest their money in certain products. Some people have enough education in finance so they can invest alone or in some case they pay for financial advice to someone who is better in this bussines. This is very often activity in the U.S. However, as Slovenia is increasing activities that are still a few years ago were only pristone in the west and in most developed countries is also going well with the finance industry. Increasingly exercising other options of investing money and keeping only the bank or worse still at home is not as popular as it once was. Naturally, the situation, as we have partly to blame the relatively short history of the country, as we previously had very different political and economic system than we have today. People can not imagine that inflation is fundamentally dif ferent than it used to be. Now we can become shareholders of the largest companies in the country.
