Abstract:V diplomski nalogi je opisan model srednjenapetostnega 20 kV daljnovoda in zgradba ter vrste omenjenih daljnovodov na distribucijskem območju Elektra Maribor d.d.

Title:OPTIMIZATION OF MEDIUM VOLTAGE 20 KV TRANSMISSION LINES WITH DIFFERENTIAL EVOLUTION AND FINITE ELEMENT METHOD
Abstract:The following diploma work describes a model of medium voltage 20 kV power line along with the structure and types of previously mentioned power lines in the distribution area of Elektro Maribor d.d. Programme packages EleFAnt and MATLAB were used for calculating and modeling. The goal of the research work is optimization of geometry and placement of position of guides in a medium voltage 20 kV power lines. Optimization parameters are single vertical and horizontal distances between the phase guides. Nowadays optimization difficulties are solved with so called evolutionary optimization algorithm that works on a base of evolution in nature. At the and of this diploma work all of the distances are set between the single phase guides and the power pole, so that the strength of the electrical field or density of magnetic field is the smallest under the power line itself. This was done with the help of an algorithm called differential evolution.
Keywords:medium voltage 20 kV transmission line, electric field strength, density of magnetic field, optimization, differential evolution, finite elements method
