Abstract:Elektronsko poslovanje pridobiva vedno večji pomen pri vsakodnevnem poslovanju podjetij, zato je pri takšnem načinu komunikacije zelo pomembno zagotavljanje varnosti izmenjanih sporočil in dokumentov.

Title:ELECTRONIC SIGNING OF ACCOUNTING DOCUMENTS
Abstract:As electronic business is gaining increasing importance in day-to-day operations of companies it is very important to ensure security of exchanged messages and documents in this type of communication. A number of methods used for exchange of different documents provide various levels of security. In order to ensure security in exchange of accounting documents a safe digital signature is used most frequently. The focus of this diploma thesis is on digital signing of accounting documents. A number of accounting documents are presented and those submitted in electronic format examined more in detail. Moreover, the digital signature types applied in specific accounting documents have been identified. A safe digital signature requiring a qualified digital certificate is used for signing accounting documents submitted to the Tax Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (DURS) and the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services (AJPES). Currently, this is the most reliable electronic signing method. Companies may also opt for electronic exchange of accounting documents with their business partners. In addition to the safe digital signature other less reliable methods are used in the exchange of such documents.
