Abstract:Informacijski razvoj in tehnološke spremembe so v zadnjem desetletju pustile svoj pečat tudi v borznem poslovanju. Poslovanje v tej obliki je dokončno zaživelo in prevladalo v letu 1995, ko so bili ukinjeni še zadnji klasični sestanki z izklicevanjem cen na borznem parketu.

Title:ONLINE FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS TRADING
Abstract:IT developments and technological changes in the last decade have left their mark in the stock business. The Ljubljana Stock Exchange started introducing an electronic business with its members via a private network in 1993. Electronic business in its present form was revived and finally prevailed in 1995 when the last classic meetings with a cry of prices on the stock floor were abolished. The beginnings of electronic securities trading via the Internet in Slovenia began in 1996 when a group of engineers in collaboration with one of the more advanced stock market internet companies developed a system of stock management: OBS Online – Personal stock system. At the end of 2002 GBD Gorenjska borznoposredniška družba d.d. offered an online electronic system GBD OnLine, which allows the submission of stock orders on the Stock Exchange via the Internet. Since the service was offered to the market, the number of users has been growing rapidly. At present, the majority of all contracts are awarded by the trading system using GBD OnLine.
