Title:Prebivalstvo trga Murska Sobota na podlagi matičnih knjig iz 18. stoletja (1733-1788)

Abstract:Zgodovino posameznega kraja v največji meri predstavljajo ljudje, ki so tam živeli, na njihov vsakdanjik pa je dokaj vplivala tudi Cerkev. Ljudje so se v okviru posamezne župnije rodili, poročali, umirali in delali. Pomemben zgodovinski vir o življenju v posameznih župnijah so matične knjige. V diplomskem delu so tako predstavljene najstarejše danes ohranjene matične knjige privilegiranega trga Murska Sobota med leti 1733 in 1788. Najprej je podan zgodovinski pregled trga Murska Sobota do 18. stoletja, nato pa soboške župnije od njene ustanovitve do konca 18. stoletja. Posebna pozornost je namenjena nastanku in razvoju matičnih knjig ter razvoju in pomenu novoveških imen in priimkov. Sledi analiza matičnih knjig za trg Murska Sobota, tekstovno in grafično obdelani podatki, kar pa je zajeto v drugem delu diplomskega dela. V transliteraciji virov je najprej izpisana krstna knjiga od 1733 do 1788, sledi poročna knjiga od 1736 do 1774, na koncu pa še pokopna knjiga od 1736 do 1774. Dodane so še priloge ter podatki o virih in literaturi.

Title:Population of Murska Sobota market based on registration books from the 18th century (1733-1788)
Abstract:History of a certain place is mostly characterised by the people who had been living there and their everyday had been influenced also by the Church. People were born, had gotten married, and had died within a parish. Registers represent an important historical source about the ways of life in a certain parish. The oldest, to this day preserved registers between 1733 and 1788, of the privileged market town Murska Sobota, are presented in this thesis. First, the historical review was given of the market town Murska Sobota, until the end of the 18th Century. Also a special attention was paid to the establishment and the development of registers and to the development and meaning of the modern times’ names and surnames. Second, the analysis of the registers of the market town Murska Sobota; textually and graphically processed data can be found in the second part of the thesis. In the transliteration of the source, a baptism inscriptions from 1733 to 1788, followed by the matrimonial inscriptions from 1736 to 1774, and the burial inscriptions from 1736 to 1774 are written in the register. At the end the information on sources and literature are given.
