Abstract:V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge je podrobneje predstavljen Didaktični petkotnik kot model matematične interesne dejavnosti, njegovo delovanje in evalvacija.

Title:INFLUENCE OF CLUB ACTIVITIES ON SCHOOL MATHEMATICS KNOWLEDGE
Abstract:In the theoretical part of my diploma work is more in detail introduced Didactic pentagon model of mathematics activity, its activity and evaluation. Special attention was paid to the presentation of the tasks of initial and final testing of knowledge and its division upon cognitive and content domains and limits of the knowledge. Later on the international project was introduced called TIMMS, which tasks/ exercises were used in evaluation. In the empiric part of my diploma work the results of the research are presented. In the research 169 mathematically promising students (4th and 5th grade) from different schools which attended free time activities were involved. The main aim of this research was to find out how Didactic pentagon influences on the knowledge of maths after finished the lower classes. The students did some prepared tests during attending the free time activity at the beginning and at the end of it. The existance of the differences of the results of the students in initial and final testing we tested on cognitive and content field and limits of the knowledge. We were interested in the differences considering the gender, the class and the performer of the program. The results of the research show the positive influence of the free time activity on the knowledge of school maths because the students showed the progress of their maths knowledge considering more fields. There are also some differences that are shown in the progress of the knowledge among the students of different classes. Amazingly the students of 4th class showed bigger progress in the most of the fields of the maths knowledge. The results of the research show that there are also differences in the knowledge because of the performer of the program.
