Še posebej so izpostavljene težave in stigmatizacija otrok s prekomerno telesno težo v osnovni šoli.

Title:THE PROGRAMMES OF ENCOURAGING MOVEMENT ACTIVITIES AND MAKING AWARENESS ABOUT HEALTHY DIET FOR CHILDREN
Abstract:The purpose of my Diploma paper with the title The Programmes of Encouraging Movement Activities and Making Awareness of Healthy Diet for Children was to form programmes which will make parents aware about healthy eating and movement activities. Obesity and its relation to the meaning of healthy dieting are presented in the theoretical part. In particular, the problems and stigmatisation of overweight children in primary schools are pinpointed. In the practical part, the programmes, which could be realised in the fifth grade in primary schools for the children with overweight problems and their parents, are shown. With these, better and more quality future life would be possible. With the knowledge, gained from these programmes, we could change eating, movement and life habits which are usually the cause for overweight problems and unhealthy lifestyle. Everyone has got an important responsibility to take care for its health and this responsibility should be presented to the children in their childhood. It is their right to learn what is healthy and what not and it is our duty to teach them that. Healthy eating and physical exercise can become, with some planning, ingenuity and some effort, a natural children’s way of life.
