Abstract:Preiskava in pregon hujših oblik organiziranega in gospodarskega kriminala zahtevata organizirano in specializirano delovanje posebnih organov znotraj policije, tožilstva in sodstva. Na področju tožilstva delujeta znotraj Vrhovnega državnega tožilstva Skupina državnih tožilcev za pregon organiziranega kriminala in Specializirani oddelek skupine za pregon organiziranega kriminala. Lansko leto je znotraj policije pričel delovati Nacionalni preiskovalni urad, trenutno pa je v ustanavljanju Specializirani oddelek kazenskih sodnikov. Pri specializaciji sodišč so se, za razliko od policije in tožilstva, pojavljali določeni pomisleki o njihovi dopustnosti, a se je izkazalo, da učinkovit boj zoper težje oblike kaznivih dejanj brez posebnih znanj in izkušenj sodnikov ni mogoč. Z namenom učinkovitega in usklajenega delovanja med navedenimi institucijami pa se v tem času pripravlja tudi sprememba zakonodaje.

Title:BODIES SPECIALLY CREATED FOR STRUGGLE AGAINST MORE SERIOUS FORMS OF ORGANISED CRIME
Abstract:Investigation and persecution of both, organized and economic crime, need a well-organized and specialized function of special agencies within police, office of the public prosecutor and judiciary. Within the Office of the General State Prosecutor, there are two special groups on the field of public prosecution, i.e. the Group of Public Prosecutors for Organized Crime Prosecution and the Specialized Prosecution Department of Organized Crime. The National Bureau of Investigation was established as a branch of the police last year. At present, the Specialized Criminal Judges Department is in the process of suspension. Specialized courts have brought about some questions and doubts, which was not the case in the police department and the office of public prosecution. However, it has turned out that effective fight against major crimes is impossible without additional and specialized knowledge and experience of the judges. Therefore, some changes in law are about to be brought about due to the tendency to more effective and adjusted function among afore mentioned institutions.
