Title:UČITELJIŠČA IN PROFESIONALNO USPOSABLJANJE BODOČIH UČITELJEV NA SLOVENSKEM

Abstract:Poklic učitelja je bil in še vedno je, poklic, ki je zelo podvržen vplivom družbenih razmer, dogajanjem in oblasti. Še zlasti v zgodovini slovenskega naroda je bil vseskozi tudi močno povezan z borbo po uveljavljanju in upoštevanju slovenskega jezika in naroda znotraj večjih, narodno raznolikih političnih združb. Poučevanje in učenje v maternem jeziku še v času naših dedkov in babic ni bilo tako samoumevno, kot se nam morda zdi danes. Zakonsko predpisano ustanavljanje učiteljišč, obvezna osnovna šola ter poučevanje v maternem jeziku so v času razsvetljenega absolutizma med drugim pomembno vplivali na osnovno opismenjevanje Slovencev, predpisano potrebno znanje učiteljev za pridobitev tega poklica, skrb države za osnovnošolsko usposabljanje prebivalstva,… Učiteljišča so postala prve izobraževalne institucije za usposabljanje bodočih učiteljev, hkrati pa tudi prva središča, ki so ženskam omogočala usposabljanje za intelektualni poklic. Vojne, vzponi in padci različnih družbeno-političnih sistemov, raznovrstne pedagoške paradigme ter dileme o potrebni izobrazbi za pridobitev in opravljanje tega poklica, so močno zaznamovali potek usposabljanja bodočih učiteljev na Slovenskem ter njihov položaj v družbi.

Title:TEACHERS' TRAINING COLLEGE AND PROFESIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TEACHERS ON SLOVENIAN TERITORY
Abstract:Being a teacher has always been a profession influenced by social conditions and worldwide political powers, especially in the history of the Slovenian nation, this profession has been very closley related to a constant battle to enforce and acknowledge the slovenian language and nation, within different national and political groups. Even in the times of our forefathers teachings and studying of the mother tongue wasn`t as prevalente as we might think today. Upon establishing teacher training colleges and primary schools the mother tonge became obligatory to teach and by regulated laws in the age of enlightenment and the age of absolutism, which had an important influence on literacy for the slovenian people and the training regulations for teachers which needed to acquire if they wanted to work in this profession, the state over saw the care for primary school education,… Training colleges became the first educational establishments to qualify for future teachers education and also at the same time the first centres that educated women for intellectual profession. Wars, across the spectrum of various social and political regimes, different pedagogical paradigms and dilemas about proper training regulations to educatate teachers, did have a major impact on qualifications for the future of teachers and their position in socieity.
