Abstract:	Invalidnost se večinoma razumeva kot stereotip za revščino in socialno izključenost, kar je posledica tega, da se invalidi soočajo z manjšimi zaposlitvenimi možnostmi. Invalidi so na trgu delovne sile ena od najbolj ranljivih skupin, za katere je v povprečju značilna nižja izobraženost in usposobljenost, višja starost in omejitve delovne zmožnosti, kar je posledica njihove invalidnosti. Delo je pomembno tako za pridobivanje materialnih sredstev za življenje invalida kot tudi za ohranjanje njegove socialne in psihološke vrednosti,za ohranjanje njegovega dostojanstva. Zaposlitev je najboljše varovalo pred socialno izključenostjo,je temelj socialne varnosti posameznika, saj mu zagotavlja sredstva za preživljanje, vključevanje v družbo in možnost samouresničitve. Položaj invalidov se je začel izboljševati,ko je začela prevladovati misel o normalizaciji in integraciji invalidov v družbo. Osnovna ideja temelji na dejstvu, da imajo invalidi pravico do družine in življenja v običajnih življenjskih okoljih. Da bi to dosegli, so invalidi potrebovali pripravo na samostojnejše življenje, usposabljanje in prilagoditev okolja na novo stvarnost, kar je narekovalo spremembe v rehabilitacijskih in izobraževalnih programih. V tem diplomskem delu obravnavamo zaposlitveno rehabilitacijo invalidov, ki je namenjena izvajanju posameznih aktivnosti, s katerimi se omogoča invalidom, da pridobijo ustrezno zaposlitev, da jo ohranijo in v njej napredujejo. V empiričnem delu na osnovi anketne metode raziskujemo ključne vidike zadovoljstva gluhih in naglušnih oseb, ki so bile vključene v programe zaposlitvene rehabilitacije v podjetju Racio d.o.o. Celje.

Title:	VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION AND EMPLOYMENT OF DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING
Abstract:	The disability is most commonly viewed as a stereotype of poverty and social exclusion due to the fact that disabled people are faced with the fewer employment opportunities. In the labour market disabled people are one of the most vulnerable group since in average their educational and training level is lower, years advanced and their working capacity limited as a result of their disability. Employment is important for obtaining material resources of the disabled as well as for sustaining their social and psychological levels and for the preservation of their dignity. It is the best safeguard against social exclusion, it is the basic of ones social security since it provides the means of subsistence, social integration and the possibility of self-realization. Economic and social status of the disabled has started to improve when the idea of normalization and integration of people with disabilities began to dominate. The main idea is based on the fact that disabled people have the right to a family life and normal living environment. To achieve this they need to prepare themselves to more independent living, training and at the same time the adaptation of the environment to the new reality which dictated the changes in the rehabilitative and educational programs . This thesis treats the vocational rehabilitation of the disabled population with the purpose to implement each activity that will enable disabled people to obtain appropriate employment, maintain it and to progress while doing it. In the empirical work, based on the survey methods, the key aspect for meeting the needs of the deaf and people hard of hearing who were involved in the vocational rehabilitation programs of the enterprise Racio d.o.o. Celje, are being explored.
