V empiričnem delu smo predstavili rezultate raziskave, ki smo jo izvedli v domu Danice Vogrinec Maribor in domu starejših- Sončni dom.

As a research instrument, we used a questionnaire, which contained 26 questions, closed and semi-open type. We wanted to determine how and to what extent nurses and medical technicians maintain dignity and privacy of older people in elderly homes, as well as to determine the reasons for the failure of ethical principles in dealing with the elderly in terms of nurses and medical technicians. The results showed that more than half of the respondents, consider wishes, needs and values of the elderly, thereby respecting their dignity. To maintain it, they offer the elderly a choice within their capabilities.
