Title:THE EXTEND OF NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS ON DEVELOPING COUNTRIES
Abstract:The actions of multinational corporations affect the economic, social and political aims of a certain country. While they can have a positive impact on some goals, like employment, they can at the same time have negative impacts on other goals, like the economic control and the sovereignty of the country. Two different poles were formed. The opposition of the multinationals claim that the companies create unevenly distributed income, environmental devastation and social impoverishment. The thesis draws attention to the negative aspects of the impact that the multinational companies have on developing countries. To this end, the method of analysis of resources and case studies was used. It was confirmed that the multinational companies have a negative impact on both the socio-cultural environment as the natural environment in other countries in which they operate. It was also noted on the failure of moral and ethical aspect of the cultural environment of other countries. Multinational companies should be obliged to benefit and promote the development not only in their home countries, but in each of which they have an impact on. The analysis of the theory in the field of international business and the analysis of concrete case studies of multinational practices, point to the discrepancy between theory and practice.
Keywords:Multinational corporations, globalization, international markets, the impact of business operations, developing countries.
