Title:VPLIV NEUSTREZNE KAKOVOSTI DOBAVITELJEV NA STROŠKE KAKOVOSTI V GORENJU, d. d.

Abstract:Diplomsko delo zajema prikaz stroškov, ki nastanejo zaradi neustrezne kakovosti proizvodov, ki jih dobimo iz držav z nizko cenovno proizvodnjo. Pri vzorčnem pregledu steklenih polic v vhodni kontroli smo ugotovili, da le-te ne ustrezajo našim zahtevam glede estetike. Steklene police so imele na površini belo plesen, ki je nastala med transportom. Zaradi nujnosti v proizvodnji smo morali poiskati takojšnjo rešitev, da je lahko delo v proizvodnji nemoteno teklo. Dobavitelja smo o napaki obvestili, toda na njegov odgovor in rešitev reklamacije nismo mogli čakati, ker so naši kupci že čakali na aparate. Ker so bile steklene police brez dodatnega dela neprimerne za uporabo v naši proizvodnji, smo takoj naročili police iz evropskega vira, istočasno pa smo pri nas začeli police čistiti. Organizirali smo dodatno ekipo delavk, ki so ob liniji sproti čistile steklene police za uporabo v proizvodnji. Ker je rok dobave polic iz Evrope bistveno krajši, kot iz držav z nizko cenovno proizvodnjo, nam je uspelo, da v proizvodnji nismo imeli zastoja in so naši kupci, ki so na aparate čakali, le te prejeli pravočasno. Z dobaviteljem estetsko neustreznih polic smo se dogovorili, da nam povrne dodatne stroške. Ker pa je komunikacija s proizvajalci iz držav z nizko cenovno proizvodnjo otežena zaradi oddaljenosti, zadeva pa je bila nujna, se kasneje nismo mogli dogovoriti o kritju stroškov, ki so nastali zaradi razlike v ceni med vgrajeno (evropsko – dražjo) polico in reklamirano (cenejšo) polico, ampak samo za stroške za dodatno čiščenje polic. Prišli smo do zaključka, da je prednost materiala iz držav z nizko cenovno proizvodnjo v ceni, ki je kljub strošku dodatnega dela, še vedno nižja, kot strošek materiala, ki ga kupimo pri evropskem viru. Slabost pa je, da se je skoraj nemogoče dogovoriti za stroške pri izpadu proizvodnje.

Title:IMPACT OF INADEQUATE QUALITY SUPPLIERS ON COST OF QUALITY IN GORENJE, d. d.
Abstract:This Diploma Thesis deals with the survey of costs which occur due to unsuitable quality of products supplied from low-cost production countries. While performing sampling of glass shelves in the Incoming inspection dept., we noticed that they do not meet our aesthetic requirements because there was white mildew present on glass shelves surface which appeared during the transport. Due to urgency in our production we were forced to find an immediate solution to enable uninterrupted course of work. We informed the supplier about the defect, but we couldn’t wait for his reply and solution of complaint because our customers were already waiting for appliances. Since the above mentioned glass shelves were useless in our production without carrying out additional work on them, we immediately ordered glass shelves from a European source and at the same time started cleaning the filthy shelves. We organized an additional team of workers who performed cleaning of dirty shelves near the assembly line. The delivery term from Europe is considerably shorter than from the countries with low-cost production, therefore we managed to avoid the production standstill and deliver the appliances to our customers in due time. We agreed with the supplier of unsuitable shelves that they should settle the additional costs. But, since the communication with manufacturers from low-cost production countries is rendered difficult because of the distance and the matter was urgent, we couldn’t agree upon covering of costs which occurred due to difference in the price between the installed (European, more expensive) and the claimed (cheaper) shelf, but only for covering of costs arisen due to additional cleaning of shelves. We came to the conclusion that the advantage of material coming from low-cost production countries is the price which is, in spite of the cost of additional work, still lower than the cost of material purchased from European source. Disadvantage, on the other hand, is that it is almost impossible to agree upon covering of costs for production loss.
