Abstract:
Raziskava v diplomski nalogi je bila opravljena na hortenziji Hydrangea serrata Thunb. Namen diplomske naloge je bil proučiti ukoreninjanje potaknjencev v poletno – jesenskem obdobju. Potaknjence smo rezali v Botaničnem vrtu v Pivoli. V raziskavi smo proučevali vpliv termina rezanja potaknjencev, vlogo rastnih regulatorjev na ukoreninjenost potaknjencev ter vpliv koncentracije rastnega regulatorja na morfološke lastnosti ukoreninjenih potaknjencev. Hortenzije zelo uspešno razmnožujemo s potaknjenci konec julija in začetek avgusta, saj je bil odstotek ukoreninjenih potaknjencev 100 %. Tretiranje potaknjencev z rastnim regulatorjem vpliva na odstotek ukoreninjenosti in na morfološke lastnosti ukoreninjenih potaknjencev. Rezultati raziskave nakazujejo, da je optimalna koncentracija rastnega regulatorja odvisna od stopnje olesenelosti lesa potaknjenca.

Title:
Propagation of species Hydrangea serrata by cuttings in summer – autumn period
Abstract:
The study in the paper was carried out on the basis of Hydrangea serrata Thunb., a species of hydrangea. The purpose of this was to study the rooting of cuttings in the summer – autumn period. They were cut in the Botanic Garden in Pivola. In this study the impact of the season when the cutting took place was investigated, the role of growth regulators on the rooted cuttings, and the impact of growth regulators on the morphological characteristics of the rooted cuttings. Hydrangea successfully reproduce by cuttings in late July and earl August, as it eas shown by the percentage of rooted cuttings which was 100 %. The treatment of cuttings by growth regulators affects the percentage of rooting and morphology of the rooted cuttings. The survey results show that the optimal concentration of growth regulators depends on the degree of eoodiness in the cuttings wood.
