Analiza vključuje naslednje slovenske in tuje začetnice: Šola za kitaro I, Mladi kitarist, Mladi kitarist 1, Methode de guitare, Basic Classical Guitar Method 1 in Basic Classical Guitar Method 2.
Keywords:Kitarski pedagogi, kitarske začetnice, kitarska tradicija, glasbenoteoretične in specifično kitarske prvine, tehnika desne in leve roke

Title:THE DEVELOPMENT AND COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF BEGINNING GUITAR METHODS
Abstract:The diploma thesis entitled The Development and Comparative Analysis of Beginning Guitar Methods deals with different elements of beginning guitar methods, which are an indispensible part of guitar lessons, in detail. The theoretical part presents the guitar teachers who influenced the development of guitar pedagogy in the world as well as in Slovenia, and whose influence is also reflected in the guitar teaching literature. The empirical part includes the analysis, comparison and interpretation of the selected methods, based on a framework of criteria of different elements. Its objective is to present the beginning guitar methods according to the selected criteria, compare them, and thus gain a better insight into the adequacy, appropriateness, usefulness, and the level of difficulty of the beginning guitar methods. The thesis combines the descriptive and comparative methods, historical method, methods of analysis and synthesis, as well as the qualitative analysis of the selected materials. The analysis includes the following Slovene and foreign beginning guitar methods: Šola za kitaro I, Mladi kitarist, Mladi kitarist 1, Methode de guitare, Basic Classical Guitar Method 1 and Basic Classical Guitar Method 2. The selected materials are analysed on the basis of five most prominent criteria, that is according to (1) the musical tradition and sources, (2) music theory elements, (3) technical elements, (4) dynamic elements and tempo markings, and (5) the design of the beginning guitar methods. Within the analysis and interpretation, the essential characteristics of individual guitar methods are highlighted, as well as their differences and similarities, and specific practical effects on the course of lessons arising from these.
Keywords:Guitar teachers, beginning guitar methods, guitar tradition, music theory and specific guitar elements, right and left hand technique
