Abstract:Simulatorje novorojenčka uporabljamo za pridobivanje znanja in izkušenj na področju oživljanja.

Title:Simulations and simulators in neonatal resuscitation
Abstract:Simulators of newborn are used for the acquisition of knowledge and experience in resuscitation. Practical sessions on the simulator can help us to easier win out specific maneuvers in a risk-free environment, which can help us later in the real world to properly respond to certain situation. In the thesis we have investigated, both computer and physical simulators in this field. Research was done on the internet and the websites of manufacturers of simulators. The results show the simulators that were found on the Internet, computer simulation and functional ability of simulations on dummies from different manufacturers (Laerdal, METI, 3B). We note that three of the most important manufacturers are Lardal,METI and 3B. Among computer programs, we identified Neonatal Resuscitation Program 2006 5th edition, and software SimBaby from Laerdal Company. We conclude that these three manufacturers (Laerdal, METI, 3B) are offering very complex simulators. On the Internet search engine precisely at YouTube there are a lot of simulations videos, so we must be careful to choose competent in hand. In this thesis we therefore decided to summarize the computer program Neonatal Resuscitation from American Academy of Pediatrics in collaboration with the American Hearth Association.
