Abstract:Vsi stremimo k varnejšim, hitrejšim, zanesljivejšim ter vse bolj avtomatiziranim delovnim procesom. V ta namen smo definirali in analizirali vzroke predvidoma visokih stroškov. Podatki so bili zbrani v distribucijskem centru Mercator d.d..

Title:THE DEMONSTRATION OF EFFECT ON IDENTIFICATION TECHNOLOGY EXCHANGE IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING OVER
Abstract:We all strive toward safer, faster and more reliable and automated work processes. All these objectives can be achieved with RFID technology that should be progressively involved in the working process. During my practice in Mercator distribution centre in Ptuj, I learned all about takeovers, storage, control, commissioning and compacting of food merchandise, non-food products and cooled merchandise and dispatch of merchandise. I also realize how high the costs of takeover process and used information technology are really. On the basis of carefully presented existing state of used sources (infrastructure, supra-structure, human resources, documentation, information support) and takeover process we have decided that the focus of thesis will be finding opportunities for improvement and consequently reduce costs. To this end, we have defined and analyzed the causes of expected high cost. Data were collected at the distribution center Mercator d.d. For the purposes of thesis we have presented all key components of RFID technology. This is very pervasive technology that is based on the use of radio frequency waves. It can be efficient substitute for bar code. This kind of identification enables the possibility of simultaneous collecting of more information at the same time, even through different versions of physical barriers. It is used for identification of people, animals, objects and things.
