Abstract:	Osnovna šola za večino ljudi pomeni nek začetek, neko odskočno desko. Tako je zelo pomembno, kateri učitelji poučujejo na osnovni šoli, kako poteka pouk in nenazadnje tudi razvoj posamezne osnovne šole. Pomembni viri za raziskovanje delovanja in razvoja osnovnih šol so šolske kronike. Tako je v diplomskem delu predstavljen razvoj in delovanje OŠ Črenšovci med leti 1941 in 1965. V začetku je podana kratka zgodovina šolstva v Prekmurju, potem dalje zgodovina OŠ Črenšovci do leta 1941, nato pa dogajanje na šoli do leta 1965. Posebna pozornost je namenjena učiteljem med in po drugi svetovni vojni, šolski zgradbi, mladinskim organizacijam in prizadevanjem za novo šolo. Ker sta nekaj časa v okviru OŠ Črenšovci delovali tudi OŠ Trnje in OŠ Žižki, je nekaj besed namenjenih tudi dogajanju na teh dveh šolah v obravnavanem času.

Title:	Črenšovci Primary School in the Years from 1941 to 1965
Abstract:	For most of people primary school represents some kind of beginning or a stepping stone. Therefore it is very important who the teachers are, how the learning process is structured, and finally how individual primary school has developed. The key sources for researching the development and operation of schools are school chronicles. This diploma paper presents the development and operation of Črenšovci primary in the years from 1941 to 1965. First the history of education in Prekmurje region is described; further the history of Črenšovci primary school until 1941, and finally the development of school until 1965. Special attention is given to teachers during and after the war, special events, the school building, youth organizations and efforts for the new school building. In the past, Trnje primary school and Žižki primary school were also under the administration of Črenšovci primary school, therefore some attention to them has also been given.
