Abstract:
Virtualizacija je skupno ime za strojne in programske rešitve, ki nam omogočajo uporabo več operacijskih sistemov na enem kosu strojne opreme. Z virtualnimi sistemi lahko zmanjšamo stroške in obenem obdržimo visok standard zanesljivosti. Cilj diplomske naloge je bil namestitev visoko razpoložljive infrastrukture hyper-V za gostovanje virtualnih strežnikov. Tehnologija hyper-V je bila preizkušena v testnem okolju, nato pa smo s pridobljenimi izkušnjami izvedli prehod še v produkcijsko okolje.

IMPLEMENTATION OF VIRTUALIZATION IN DNEVNIK D.D.
Abstract:
Virtualization is a common name for hardware and software solutions that enable us to run multiple operating systems on a single piece of hardware. With virtual systems we can reduce costs while keeping high level of reliability. The goal of my thesis was installation of high available Hyper-V infrastructure for virtual server hosting. Hyper-V technology was tested in test environment where we gained useful experiences for transitioning to our production environment.
