Abstract:	POVZETEK Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in praktičnega dela (diplomski nastop). Teoretični del opisuje ljudsko glasbo na splošno, bolj podrobneje je predstavljena prekmurska ljudska glasba. Nekaj besed je namenjenih tudi komorni glasbi, predvsem pa komorni zasedbi Ethnotrip, za katero sem priredil šest prekmurskih ljudskih skladb: Po lougi leiče, Teče mi vodica, Po bükovji, Poglejmo po sveiti, Ne jouči za mene, Mi pa mámo sneho. Vse skladbe so temeljito raziskane, obdelane, prirejene za glas, klavir, violino in kontrabas, in oblikovno, ritmično, melodično, harmonsko ter interpretacijsko analizirane. V diplomskem delu so zajete različne metode in sicer, deskriptivna metoda, komparativna metoda, zgodovinska metoda in metoda analize.

Title:	FOLK MUSIC OF PREKMURJE PERFORMED BY THE CHAMBER GROUP ETHNOTRIP
Abstract:	ABSTRACT This diploma paper consists of a theoretical and a practical part (diploma performance). The theoretical part discusses folk music, whereby the folk music of Prekmurje is discussed in full detail. Furthermore it discusses chamber music, especially the chamber ensemble Ethnotrip, for whose performance six folk songs of Prekmurje were adapted: “Po lougi leiče” (It is flying through the forest), “Teče mi vodica” (The water runs for me), “Po bükovji” (Through the forest), “Poglejmo po sveiti” (Let us look across the world), “Ne jouči za mene” (Don’t cry for me), “Mi pa mámo sneho” (We have got a bride). All these songs were researched, processed and adapted for vocals, the piano, the violin and the contrabass. They were analysed from the morphological, rhythmic, melodic, harmonic and interpretational point of view. In the process of writing different methods were used: the descriptive method, the comparative method, the historical method and the method of analysis.
