Abstract:V diplomskem delu je s pomočjo osnovnih lastnosti polinomov in konvencionalne strukture algebraičnega izraza opisan postopek prepoznave polinoma v programskem jeziku JavaScript.

Title:BASIC OPERATIONS ON POLYNOMIALS IN THE JAVASCRIPT PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE
Abstract:In the following thesis, the polynomial recognition procedure in JavaScript programing language is described with the help of basic properties of polynomials and convensional structure of algebraic expression. The polynomial is presented with an array in which every polynomial element $a_ix^i$ is represented with a numerator and denominator of the coefficient $a_i$ and a power over the variable $x$. The introductory chapters are allocated to basic terms, then in the third chapter we define the recognition and representation of the polynomial. The final chapter, being the most important, is dedicated to the implementation of the recognition and presentation of the polynomial in JavaScript.
Keywords:polynomial, convenisonal structure of expression, expression tree
