Title:CHALLENGES OF PLANNING INTRAPRENEURSHIP PROJECTS
Abstract:The word “Entrepreneurship” primarily means to address the challenges in an innovative way and to sale new solutions to others who face similar challenges. All entrepreneurs throughout human history were aware of that and today are no different. The constantly changing environment was also present in the past and so were the crisis. Because of that, only those who were able to accept changes as a challenge and adapt quickly enough have survived. In my undergraduate dissertation I studied the challenges and adjustments necessary for the initiation of intrapreneurship, which is one of the possible solutions for medium sized and large companies who are, because of their size and complexity, in general becoming less and less innovative. The main purpose of intrapreneurship is to enable and stimulate innovative and challenges eagerly individuals or teams within the company to search for new solutions, innovations or improvements for the company and in return the company offers them a safer business environment and other various kinds of stimulations. With a structured questionnaire I conducted a research trying to analyze whether the unexploited intrapreneurial potential is located within the company of modern joinery business, company AJM Ltd. Based on the survey results I can conclude that, in the company AJM Ltd. and its employees lies a very large intrapreneurial potential, waiting yet to be discovered, revealed and directed upon an innovative way. This is why I have presented three potential intrapreneurial projects, however, to successfully achieve this goal they will have to change, adjust and adapt many things, including those who want to be left alone.
