Ker so odprte, razvite, svobodne in mirne države, imajo dobro investicijsko klimo. Investicijsko klimo poslabšujejo visoki davki in dobra zaščita delavcev.

Title:THE IMPACT OF INVESTMENT CLIMATE ON DIRECT FOREIGN INVESTMENTS IN BENELUX COUNTRIES
Abstract:Benelux countries are very similar in economic and political sense. All these three countries are geographically small, opened, but strong and well developed countries. This is also a reason why they have similar policy towards foreign direct investments (FDI). There are almost none prohibition for foreign investments, there are only restrictions for investing into some industries, such as public transport, safety, water and electricity supply and other public services, manufacturing of food, firearms etc. All of them also have well developed finance sector, especially Luxemburg, which represents strong finance center. Their investment climate is good, because they are open, developed, free and peaceful countries. There are things that burden their investment attractiveness, such as high tax rates and protection of workers. However, since they have similar characteristics; we cannot answer the question, which of them is for investors more or less attractive.
Keywords:foreign direct investments, investments climate, FDI policy, economic freedom.
